Great Ski |

Demo'd a pair in Utah last January. No snow in the BC so I only experienced this ski on the piste.
Absolutely awesome groomed carving ski, you could really lay into a turn and trust it was going to hold at any speed.
I found them a little heavy but that is to be expected for a great carving ski
In my opinion I think the ski will really excel on any hardpack and or icy slopes probably great for back east or the western rider who occasionally/rarely ventures off the resort.

RTM 84-Great Ski |

I skied on the AC 50 last year, and loved it. This year's RTM 84 surpasses the AC 50 in soft snow and Sierra Cement, yet I felt no difference on the hard pack. Remarkable grip at any speed. Remarkable ski. Not a "full (banana peel) rocker." More a carving ski that you can really lean on.
They say this ski "skis short." I don't think so. I'm not tall, and ordered the 166cm length, which is a full 6cm longer than my snappy pair of Dynastar Cross-X, which I love, but which dive in powder. I wouldn't want a longer pair.
